Tasik Subsea and Fujian Mawei Shipyard are pleased to announce that the keel of the SOV Tasik Toba was successfully laid at a ceremony held at the new Fujian Mawei shipyard on Culu Island in Fuzhou province, China on Tuesday 8th December 2015.   The ceremony was hosted by the Chairman of Mawei Shipyard Zhang Zhitong along with senior members of the Fujian Shipbuilding Corporation, John Giddens of Tasik Subsea and Mike Meade of M3 Marine. The Tasik Toba build commenced at Fujian Mawei Shipyard in Fuzhou, China in August 2014 and is on track for scheduled Q1 2017 delivery into a confirmed long term charter.
